TATYANA
First choreographic adaptation of Deborah Colker and her company of a work foreign to her creative universe, Tatyana takes as inspiration source a classic of universal literature: Evguêni Oniéguin - romance in verses, published in 1832 by Aleksandr Púchkin (1799-1837), had as the “father of Russian literature”.
Built in two acts, the ballet puts Pútchkin himself in direct interaction with the four protagonists of his masterpiece. And it multiplies your desires, conflicts, emotions and psychological changes by delivering each role to groups of four or eight dancers.
The music of great Russian authors such as Rachmaninov, Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky and Prokofiev packs this timeless journey to the heart of a story of duels, mismatches, passions and disappointments.
