The infinite possibilities of exploring paths through contemporary dance and the presence on stage of the greatest symbol of human invention give life and movement to Rota, a show launched by the Dance Company Deborah Colker in 1997.

Third original choreography and fourth show presented by the Rio de Janeiro company, Rota describes its turn and its course around the main axes of the work of choreographer Deborah Colker: the use of gesture, synthesis of movement, as a powerful element of scenic expression; the appropriation of movements from other body practices; and reflections on the forces that govern movement, the genesis of dance. He also strolls through classical ballet, strolls through jazz, and promotes, in two acts and six movements, a radical occupation of the scenic space.
