CONTRIBUTION VIA GO
When making a contribution via IR you will be using the tax exemption benefit. This means that the amount donated may be deducted from your income tax return through the donation receipt issued.
We are a family owned and operated business.
However, in order to use the benefit, it is necessary that your declaration be made using the complete model (Legal deductions). The limit of the amount deducted is calculated on the income tax due for the current year, which is 6% for individuals and 4% for legal entities (click here to calculate).
We are a family owned and operated business.
By contributing via IR you will be advancing a part of the amount due to the Revenue, but having clarity on where, how and why your money is being invested.

Why should I contribute? We are going through a challenging time around the world, with the cultural sector being one of the most affected. We have, within the reach of every citizen who pays tax, a powerful tool to encourage the resumption of the Brazilian cultural sector. Art transforms people and the cultural market can transform the country. The creative economy sector corresponds to 2.64% of GDP, accounting for 4.9 million jobs throughout the country. By contributing to the Company, you continue the important work we do, encourage the country's production chain - as well as the recovery of our economy - and also receive exclusive benefits in return for your donation. Over 26 years, we performed 13 shows, generated around 37 direct jobs and more than 120 indirect jobs, and placed Brazil among the most famous cultural awards in the world. Driven by the idea and using movement as a language, we tell stories and promote experiences, touching hearts and reaching more than 3 million people on four continents. Now, we invite you to be part of this movement.

What is the donation of individuals through tax exemption? It is the possibility of directing up to 6% of the Income Tax due by the taxpayer (opting for the complete declaration model) to cultural projects previously approved by the Special Secretariat for Culture.
-
How is the donated amount deducted from income tax? After payment confirmation, a sponsorship receipt will be issued with all the information necessary for entry into the IRPF program of the Federal Revenue Service. This information must be entered in the “Donations Made” menu under code 41. Before the IR declaration period, you will receive the sponsorship receipt along with the donation entry instructions. Once again, we emphasize that the tax benefit is limited to 6% of the tax due and can only be used by taxpayers who choose to declare Legal Deductions (full model). Adhesions with contribution via income tax made in the current fiscal year must be declared in the income tax of the following year. Example: donations made in 2020 must be declared in 2021. The exemption is applied both to those who have income tax payable and to those who have income tax to be refunded. For example: If you donate R$100.00 and have to pay Income Tax in the amount of R$1,000.00, the tax balance payable will be R$900.00. The amount donated reduces the amount to be paid. If you donate R$100.00 and have to receive Income Tax in the amount of R$1,000.00, the refund balance will be R$1,100.00. The amount donated is added to the amount received.
-
How do I calculate the amount corresponding to 6% of the IR due?The estimate can be made based on the income tax of the previous year (in cases where there have not been drastic changes such as the sale or acquisition of real estate, receiving an inheritance, etc.). Simply multiply the amount of income tax DUE (before the deduction of the withholding tax) and multiply by 6%. We provide a calculator here.
-
How will I get the Donation Receipt? (Patronage Receipt)The Patronage Receipt, prepared in the standard and within the period required by the Special Secretariat for Culture, will be sent to the email address provided by the donor at the time of registration.
-
What is the deadline for donation? There is no deadline for free donations. Donations via IR must take into account that the annual tax return always corresponds to the previous fiscal year, so donations made from 01/01/2021 to 12/30/2021 can only have the respective sponsorship receipts used in the 2022 tax return .
-
What happens if I file the simplified declaration next year?In this case, you will not receive a refund of the amount donated. The Rouanet Law provides for tax incentives only for individuals opting for the complete model declaration.
-
What is direct donation? It is the financial contribution to a cultural project without obtaining tax incentives. Simply select a benefit category and make the corresponding donation.
-
What amount can I contribute?Any amount from BRL 50.00.
-
Do I run the risk of falling into the “fine mesh” if I make a tax-exempt donation? No! The tax benefit arising from the allocation of 6% of the income tax due to cultural projects approved by the Special Secretariat for Culture is a right guaranteed to any citizen, certified by the Federal Revenue Service of Brazil. The amount of the incentive is calculated based on the amount of tax due and does not enter as a deduction (medical expenses, education and pension expenses). We emphasize that the DONOR is responsible for all the information provided, so it is important to pay close attention when registering and to indicate the amount corresponding to 6% of the tax due.
